League leaders Juventus celebrated their head coach Antonio Conte’s 100th Serie A match with a 3-1 home win over Chievo Sunday, reports Xinhua. Kwadwo Asamoah put the hosts ahead in the 17th minute followed by Claudio Marchisio‘s goal (29th minute). Chievo pulled one back thanks to Martin Caceres’ own goal but Fernando Llorente‘s 57th-minute header calmed nerves and sealed the result for the hosts. Roma remain nine points adrift of Juve in second after they beat 10-man Sampdoria 3-0 at Stadio Olimpico....

The German Football Federation (DFB) tweeted the news a little over five hours before the scheduled kick-off on Wednesday. It is understood the 29-year-old has been withdrawn as a precaution and is not suffering from a major complaint. Juventus are looking to bolster their attack by adding an experienced striker to regain their lost crown. Their rumored transfer target is Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik. He is currently on loan at Ligue 1 side Marseille. Milik has prior experience of playing in Serie A and will be a perfect back-up striker at Juventus. If reports from Todofichajes are to be believed, Juventus might miss out on Lacazette’s signature for a second consecutive year. The 29-year-old will enter the last year of his contract with Arsenal after the ongoing season, but the Premier League giants are yet to begin contract renewal talks with him. However, the aforementioned report claims that a recent upturn in the Frenchman’s form has changed the Gunners’ mind.
